ELAN Homes Brings Sustainable Living to Goosnargh with 21 New Homes
ELAN Homes has secured its fourth site in Lancashire, this time in Goosnargh. The developer plans to build 21 homes, with a focus on sustainability and accessibility. The project, located on former Whittingham Hospital grounds, will also include a wildflower meadow and an ecological bat house to boost biodiversity.
ELAN's plans, approved by planners, include a mix of three and four-bedroom homes. Notably, 61% of these properties will be built to Life Time Homes standards, ensuring they can adapt to changing needs. The development will also feature electric vehicle charging points and offer excellent commuter links to Preston, the M6, and the M55.
Groundworks are already complete, and construction is set to begin this summer. The homes are expected to hit the market later this year. Meanwhile, a section of land has been reserved for a new primary school, with £400,000 already contributed towards its funding. The landscape architect for the project remains unspecified.
ELAN's Goosnargh development promises sustainable, accessible homes with a focus on biodiversity. With construction starting soon and funding for a new primary school secured, the project looks set to bring positive change to the area.
