Eggoz Secures $20M in Series C Funding, Plans Expansion and Tech Investment

Eggoz, an innovative agri-consumer brand, has secured $20 million in a Series C funding round led by Gaja Capital. The company, which offers a range of egg-based snacks, has seen remarkable growth, reporting a 76% year-on-year revenue increase with net cash revenue reaching Rs 130 crore in FY25. Abhishek Negi, Co-Founder & CEO of Eggoz, announced plans to use the capital to strengthen the company's presence in current markets, expand to new cities, and invest in technology and supply chain infrastructure.

Eggoz, founded in 2017 by IIT Kharagpur alumni, aims to transform India's egg consumption by ensuring safety, traceability, and nutritional superiority. The company sells its products in over 11 major cities across India, catering to urban consumers' demand for convenient and nutritious food options. The funding round also saw participation from existing investors and marquee angel investors. Gopal Jain, CEO and Managing Director at Gaja Capital, praised Eggoz's scalable, tech-first approach to solving a critical gap in India's protein ecosystem. In Q4 FY25, Eggoz achieved a peak brand ARR of Rs 200 crore and EBITDA breakeven, demonstrating the company's strong financial performance.

With the newly raised funds, Eggoz plans to fortify its presence in existing markets, expand to new cities, and enhance its technology and supply chain infrastructure. The company's innovative approach to the egg industry has been recognized by investors, and its strong financial performance indicates a promising future. As Eggoz continues to grow, it aims to revolutionize the way Indians consume eggs, ensuring safety, traceability, and nutritional superiority.
