Duties for drivers in the state will significantly escalate as of 1 September
As of September 1, 2022, several changes will be implemented in Russia regarding the costs of driving services and vehicle registration. The Vice President of "The Russian Automobile Movement" has reported these developments.
Starting from this date, the cost of a driver's license will increase from 2,000 rubles to 4,000 rubles. For new driver's licenses, the fee will rise from 3,000 rubles to 6,000 rubles.

The tariffs for transit numbers will change: paper ones will cost 300 rubles, and metal ones - 2,400 rubles. Driving schools will have to pay 15,000 rubles for checking their educational base for compliance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education.
