Dubai Airports Launches 'DXB for All' Campaign to Enhance Accessibility
Dubai Airports has launched a new awareness campaign, DXB for All, to highlight real-life stories of guests with diverse needs navigating DXB and DWC. The long-term effort involves collaboration across Dubai's aviation ecosystem and builds on the earlier We All Meet the World Differently initiative.
The campaign features accessibility advocates such as Emirati pioneer Fatma Al Jassim, former Paralympic swimmer Jessica Smith, and Dubai mother Yasmin Carey with her son Ellis. It aims to enhance the travel experience at every stage for all guests with dignity and ease.
Current accessibility services at DXB and DWC include sensory-friendly lounges, wheelchair assistance, visual travel planners, and discreet Sunflower Lanyards. Dubai Airports' 10-year accessibility strategy aligns with international best practices and the UAE's commitment to supporting People of Determination. The goal is to make Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC) the world's most inclusive airports by 2035.
Led by Chief Operating Officer Majed Al Joker, Dubai Airports' DXB for All campaign showcases real-life stories to improve accessibility. The initiative involves collaboration across Dubai's aviation ecosystem and aims to make every journey through DXB and DWC an inclusive experience for all travelers by 2035.
