Dr. Sonja Rauner assumes the roles of both CIO and COO at Helaba
New Leadership at Helaba: Dr. Sonja Rauner Takes Over as CIO, COO, and General Representative
Dr. Sonja Rauner has been appointed as the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and General Representative of Helaba, effective August 1, 2025. This appointment follows approval from the European banking supervision and will see her join the bank's executive board after further approval from the European banking authority.
In her new role, Dr. Rauner will oversee various departments, including Information Technology, Operations, Organization, and the CIO/COO Office. She will succeed Christian Rhino on November 11, 2024.
