Renovation Work to Commence at A1 Interchange Hürth on May 23rd
The Autobahn GmbH des Bundes (Federal Motorway Company of Germany) has announced that the long-awaited renovation work at the A1 interchange Hürth will commence on Friday, May 23rd, at 21:00. The work is expected to conclude on Tuesday, May 27th, at 05:00.
During this period, the A1 interchange Hürth will be fully closed for traffic in both directions, towards Dortmund and towards Koblenz. This closure applies from Friday, May 23rd, 21:00, to Tuesday, May 27th, 05:00.
Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and allow extra time for their journeys. The detour routes for the renovation work at the A1 interchange Hürth are marked with a red dot. These detours will start from the Erftstadt interchange.
Alternative detour routes will be available via the A61 (Autobahn junction Erfttal/ interchange Gymnich) and the A61 (Autobahn junction Erfttal/ interchange Gymnich) respectively. The A1 interchange Hürth closure is due to roadway renovation at the Hürth interchange by Autobahn GmbH Rheinland.
