Discussions on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) transportation and commerce
We are excited to announce a panel discussion on current hot topics in LNG shipping and trading, which will be held during London International Shipping Week 2025. This event, hosted by our website and Twenty Essex, promises to be an insightful and engaging discussion for individuals dealing with LNG shipping and trading in-house, as well as disputes and transactional lawyers.
The panel, which will be held under the Chatham House Rule, will feature experts from the LNG industry. Miranda Hearn from Centrica Energy, Spyros Kokkaliaris from Gaslog, Lindsey Swiger from our US website, and Michael Ashcroft KC from Twenty Essex are confirmed panelists. Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Miranda Hearn and Michael Ashcroft KC will also be speaking at the event.
The panel will delve into topical and perennial issues arising from the shipping and trading of LNG. The discussions will focus on challenging scenarios in the current geopolitical environment, and will explore contracts for the construction of LNG carriers, the sale of LNG, and its transportation.
Ryan Bax from LR Advisory will provide an introduction to themes in maritime energy transition during a related shipping event at London International Shipping Week 2025. While Go Katayama, Kpler’s Principal Insight Analyst for LNG & Natural Gas, will be speaking at a different LNG panel (World Gas Conference 2025) on LNG terminal construction and growth, we are looking forward to hearing their insights during our event.
The panel discussion will be followed by a networking reception, providing attendees with an opportunity to connect and engage with fellow industry professionals.
We encourage you to register for the event on our website to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you there!
