Delta XD Secures First-Ever Nadcap Accreditation for 3D Structured Light Systems

Delta XD, a leading provider of 3D scanning services, has made headlines by securing Nadcap accreditation. This achievement is recognised by over 50 aerospace prime subscribers, including Rolls-Royce, demonstrating Delta XD's commitment to delivering high-precision services meeting stringent aerospace and defence standards.

The Nadcap accreditation, specifically AC7130/4, covers Delta XD's 3D Structured Light Systems (3DSL). This includes both in-house services using Zeiss ScanBox and ATOS systems, and on-site inspections with portable 3D scanning equipment. Notably, this is the first known Nadcap accreditation for 3DSL as an independent testing method. While Nadcap is widely recognised in the aerospace industry for processes like heat treatment and non-destructive testing, it has not been explicitly used for 3D scanning technologies until now.

Delta XD, a Zeiss Certified Metrology Partner, has expressed pleasure in securing this accreditation. The company's COO, Daniel Lainchbury, highlighted Delta XD's expertise and commitment to high standards, stating that this achievement sends a clear message to customers about their dedication to delivering accredited, high-precision services.

Delta XD's Nadcap accreditation for 3D Structured Light Systems is a significant milestone in the 3D scanning industry. It demonstrates the company's commitment to meeting stringent aerospace and defence standards. This achievement is expected to enhance Delta XD's reputation and customer base, particularly within the aerospace sector.
