Construction project impeding local bus services in Huttenstraße starting June 16th
Heads up, folks! Starting June 16, 2025, there'll be some major road work going down in Huttenstraße, Halle (Saale). The Hallesche Verkehrs-AG (HAVAG) is making some adjustments to bus lines 26, 30, and 43 in the area due to this construction work.
Specifically, the section between Huttenstraße bus stop (Platform C) and Südfriedhof bus stop (Platform B) will be closed, causing a bit of a detour for our transportation enthusiasts.
Bus line 26 and the two early trips on Line 43 on Sundays and holidays will zigzag their way from the additional Robert-Koch-Straße bus stop via Vogelweide and Am Grünen Feld towards Damaschkestraße.
Meanwhile, Bus line 30 will cruise down Rannischer Platz, wind through Südfriedhof (Platform A), Turmstraße, Lauchstädter Straße, and Türkstraße, eventually landing at the Hauptbahnhof. In reverse, it'll depart from the Hauptbahnhof, whisking by Türkstraße, Lauchstädter Straße, and Turmstraße, and heading toward Südfriedhof (Platform A), and continuing on its merry way to Rannischer Platz.
Unfortunately, a few of our beloved bus stops will bite the dust during this time, namely Robert-Koch-Straße (Platform C), Liebenauer Straße (Platform A/B), Südfriedhof (Platform B), Huttenstraße (Platform C), and BG Klinikum Bergmannstrost Halle (Platform D).
Remember, if you need the nitty-gritty details on alternate stops and exactly which lines will be rerouted, it's best to keep an eye on updates from HAVAG or Stadtwerke Halle as we get closer to or during the construction period. They usually release more specific details and maps closer to the event.
