The Le Mirage Residences: A Luxury Living Experience in Westlands, Kenya

Westlands, Kenya is set to welcome a new addition to its skyline with the upcoming Le Mirage Residences by CityBlue Hotels. Scheduled for completion in the last quarter of 2027, this 35-floor building will boast 315 rooms and become the second tallest hotel residence in the area[1].

The Le Mirage Residences, a testament to international standards in construction, hospitality, and residence management, will offer a unique blend of luxury living and premium amenities[1]. Key features and amenities include:

  • 256 luxury units consisting of one to three-bedroom apartments[2][5].
  • Over 22 amenities across more than 52,000 square feet dedicated to wellness, lifestyle, and recreational facilities[2].
  • Leisure options reportedly include facilities such as squash courts and pedal boat courts, reflecting a variety of premium lifestyle amenities[3].
  • Spacious apartments with en-suite bedrooms, with master bedrooms featuring TVs and stylish living and dining areas, emphasizing luxury living spaces[4].

The development is a partnership between CityBlue Hotel and SMB Properties, representing a blend of branded hospitality and high-end residential real estate, positioning Westlands as a commercial and residential hub in Nairobi[1][5].

Westlands has become the epicentre of a residential and commercial hub in Kenya. The Le Mirage Residences will not be the only tall hotel residence in the area, as the JW Marriott currently holds that title. The JW Marriott, which has 35 floors and 315 rooms, is currently the tallest hotel residence in the area[1].

CityBlue Hotels, with four hotels already in Kenya, is committed to expanding in key African markets and diversifying offerings beyond traditional hotels[6]. The Le Mirage Residences project in Westlands is already 50% sold, demonstrating the confidence investors have in Kenya's real estate market[7].

In addition to the Le Mirage Residences, international hotel chains like Parkinn by Radisson Blu, Mövenpick, Hyatt Regency, JW Marriot, among others, exist in Westlands[8]. This partnership between CityBlue Hotels and SMB Properties is a significant step in the growth and development of the Westlands area.
