Cologne's Pathway Toward: A Redefinition of Its Route
In the heart of Neuss, the city is undergoing a transformation, with several key developments taking place. Here's what you need to know.
Starting September 23, 2025, the "Cologne Street / Bonn Street" project will commence in Gnadental. This project will involve the renewal of the road surface, which will lead to a complete closure of the road between the "Sporthafen" bus stop and the Erft bridge. During this period, the "Sporthafen" and "Kasterstraße" bus stops (in both directions) as well as the "Hüsenstraße" stop (towards the city center) will not be serviced.
To accommodate this road closure, bus lines 851 and 852 will be detoured via Grüner Weg, Berghäuschensweg, and Norfer Straße. Line 852 will turn around at the roundabout in Grimlinghausen, while line 851 will continue its route to Bonn Street after the detour. Individual traffic will be directed through a large-scale detour during this closure.
