Alicia García Herrero, a Senior Fellow at China Horizons and the Chief Economist for Asia Pacific at Natixis, based in Hong Kong, provides her expertise on the economic aspects of China's resurgence. She is an advisor to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's research arm (HKIMR), a visiting Professor at John Hopkins University (SAIS program), China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and Carlos III University, and an independent Board Member of AGEAS insurance group and a non-resident Senior Fellow at the East Asian Institute (EAI) of the National University Singapore (NUS).

Michal Krystyanczuk, an experienced Data Scientist, brings his expertise in Artificial Intelligence to the table. With a focus on Deep Learning and Big Data techniques, Michal has worked on numerous AI projects for companies in the sectors of pharmaceuticals, marketing, and finance. His goal is to enable the use of AI to make an impact on society, and he is an enthusiast of Cognitive Computing and Information Retrieval from unstructured data (text, image, and video).

Théo Storella, a Research Analyst at China Horizons, specializes in China's political economy. He holds a bachelor's degree in East-Asian Studies from Wesleyan University and two master's degrees from the London School of Economics and Fudan University in Public Policy. His latest master's dissertation investigated Chinese healthcare initiatives in Africa under the Belt & Road Initiative.

Robin Schindowski, another Research Analyst at China Horizons, focuses on the Chinese economy and its interactions with the international economic architecture. He was supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as a scholarship holder during his master's studies. Robin studied Contemporary Chinese Studies at the University of Tübingen and holds a master's degree in Economics from La Sorbonne and the University of Paris-Saclay. He wrote his master's thesis on the impact of patronage networks in the Chinese government on economic outcomes.

The article was updated on September 16, 2025, with Robin now involved in the DWARC project under the Horizon Europe Fund. Michal, with his expertise in AI, has managed numerous semantic data projects for global brands like Mulberry, BNP Paribas, Groupe SEB, Publicis, and Abbott.

This collaborative effort aims to provide valuable insights into dealing with China's resurgence, offering a comprehensive understanding of the economic, political, and technological landscape.
