Speed4Trade Celebrates 20 Years and Honors Long-Serving Employees
Speed4Trade, a software company based in Altenstadt/WN, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a summer festival. The event was a testament to the company's success and the importance of employee retention, as nearly half of its employees have been with the company for at least 10 years.
The celebrations included honoring employees who have served the company for 10 and 20 years. Stefan Dorschner, Thomas Hoffmann, Manuel Fröhlich, Christoph Sommer, Anja Melchior, Markus Schwägerl, Christian Jakob, Dirk Jungermann, Tobias Kaas, Philipp Gleißner, Felicitas Liberda, and Thomas Gotthard were recognized for their long-term service.
Founded in 2005, Speed4Trade specializes in offering software solutions for e-commerce, focusing on digitizing and automating trading and service processes. Today, the company employs around 100 people who work on the development of online shops, web portals, and interfaces to marketplaces like Amazon and eBay.
While there is no specific data on how employee retention has historically contributed to Speed4Trade's success, it is common for companies celebrating a 20th anniversary to reflect on long-term employee retention as a significant factor in sustained success. Employee retention helps preserve institutional knowledge, fosters loyalty, and maintains consistent performance, creating a stable workforce that supports innovation and reliability over decades.
Meanwhile, in other parts of the region, events were also taking place. Maria Wiesnet, a resident of Schlicht, celebrated her 99th birthday in top shape. The 45th Market Festival in Schmidmühlen was attracting many visitors, and the Kulm Riding Club was celebrating its 50th anniversary with a big program full of highlights. Last Sunday, classic car enthusiasts gathered at Kummert Inn in Amberg, while Nabburg honored Ernst Hanauer, a significant entrepreneur in the Upper Palatinate, by naming a street after him and making him an honorary citizen. Sadly, Ernst Hanauer passed away. Jana Svitaková and Andreas Gruber renewed their vows at the lakeside stage in Schönsee.
The two- and four-legged performers at the Kulm Riding Club's anniversary show were not deterred by the rain, and the festival featured a tapping of the beer barrel, an extensive program of associations, and a colorful supporting program for two days of celebration and sociability.
Other businesses in the region celebrated milestone events as well. Maria Wiesnet, a resident of Schlicht, celebrated her 99th birthday, while the Kulm Riding Club marked its 50th anniversary.
