C&M Transport Acquires Barrett Directline for Expanded Expedited Freight Services

C&M Transport, a leading provider of expedited freight services, has announced its acquisition of Barrett Directline Delivery Services. The deal, set to close on November 1, will combine two transportation specialists, offering clients an expanded range of time-sensitive and expedited ground freight services.

Barrett Directline, based in Rogers, Arkansas, brings to the table its expertise in same- and next-day delivery, with 14 power units. The company will begin operating under the C&M banner from November 1, adding to C&M's existing 17 power units. C&M Transport, headquartered near Cleveland, Ohio, offers expedited freight, air charter, and 3PL management services from its 17 locations across the country.

The priority for both companies is to ensure a seamless transition for clients, partners, and employees. The final integration is expected to be completed by November 1, 2025.

The acquisition of Barrett Directline by C&M Transport is set to strengthen both companies' positions in the market for time-sensitive and expedited ground freight. Clients can expect expanded services and coverage, while employees can look forward to new opportunities within the combined entity.
