BVG's new leader in sales and marketing duties is Ineke Paulsen.

Ineke Paulsen is set to join the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) as the new area manager, taking over the reins on October 1, 2025. This highly-anticipated appointment comes as the public transport company continues to win the hearts of its passengers and set standards in the mobility sector.

Paulsen, a marketing powerhouse with a diverse background, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Most recently, she held a marketing position at Meta, overseeing Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Prior to Meta, she honed her skills at Procter & Gamble and the former startup Wimdu.

During her tenure at Meta, Paulsen developed innovative campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp brands, which regularly garnered creativity awards, such as the employer campaign in 2024. Her successes in sales and campaign development are significant and will undoubtedly prove beneficial for BVG.

In her new role, Paulsen will focus on brand development and sales, with a clear strategic focus, entrepreneurial thinking, and team spirit. She intends to further develop the BVG brand and sales, aiming to set new impulses and inspire more people for public transport.
