Buses are being re-routed on Bierstadter Street

Beginning August 11th, during regular service hours, the temporary stop 'Plutoweg' will be introduced along the B455 route, replacing the previous deviation. Passengers for lines 17, 23, and 24 should disembark at 'Plutoweg' and walk to Bierstadter Straße for their regular connection.

The Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden has announced changes to bus routes due to ongoing construction works. Here's what you need to know:

The Press Office, located at Schlossplatz 6, 65183 Wiesbaden, has released the following information:

  • Starting from Friday, August 8, 2025, bus lines 37, 17, 23, 24, and N11 will be affected by a closure on Patrickstraße.
  • Additionally, lines 37 and 17 will experience detours due to closures on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, effective from August 8 through at least August 18, 2025.

Unfortunately, the exact alternative detour routes or replacement stops for these lines are not detailed in this summary. For the most accurate and updated detour routes, it is advisable to consult the official Wiesbaden public transport website or their interactive route finder directly.

During the construction period, the following stops cannot be served by line 37: "Plutoweg", "Wartestraße", "Fichtestraße/Handwerkskammer", and "Hans-Bredow-Straße". However, citizens can reach these stops by buses traveling out of the city.

Line 37 takes a detour via Patrickstraße and B455 to the stop "Berliner Straße" after the substitute stop "Zieglerstraße". For lines 17, 23, 24, and N11 in the direction of the city center, the detour includes Kirchbachstraße, Aukammallee, and Fichtestraße.

The good news is that trips in the direction of Bierstadt are not affected by the construction works.

Trip planning should account for the mentioned changes, and additional time may be necessary. An overview of all detour announcements is available on www.eswe-verkehr.de. Timetable information can also be found on the interactive network plan at www.netzplan-our website.de.

For questions or further information, citizens can contact the responsible department or office. The ESWE-Verkehr service telephone is reachable from Monday to Friday between 7 and 18 o'clock and on Saturdays from 8 to 15 o'clock under the phone number (0611) 45022450. Timetable and fare information is also available via the hotline of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund under the number (069) 24248024.

The nearest boarding and alighting possibilities for lines 17, 23, 24, and N11 in the city center are at the stops "Wartestraße", "Hildastraße", and "Alwinenstraße". After the detour, lines 37 and the aforementioned lines return to their regular routes.
