Bremer Tramway Company announces disruptions on lines 1 and 4; repairs completed (update)

In the city, there have been disruptions on tram lines 1 and 4 due to damage to the overhead line in the Kirchbachstraße area. The local utility company or the responsible infrastructure maintenance team has worked to repair the damages.

As of now, Line 1 is running between Kurt-Huber-Straße and Bahnhof Mahndorf in the east, and between Huchting and Hauptbahnhof. From Hauptbahnhof, it is rerouted via Line 4 to Arsten. Similarly, Line 4 is operating between Arsten and Hauptbahnhof, and is rerouted via Line 1 to Huchting.

The good news is that the disruptions on lines 1 and 4 are no longer affecting the service between Kurt-Huber-Straße and Arsten, as well as between Huchting and Lilienthal. However, there may still be short-term delays, cancellations, and diversions on these lines.

A replacement bus service had been set up for both lines 1 and 4, but it has since been discontinued. The route for lines 1 and 4 is now passable again.

It's important to note that the section between Hauptbahnhof and Lilienthal is not currently being served by Line 4. Passengers are advised to check the latest updates and plan their journeys accordingly.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank passengers for their understanding and patience during this time.
