Our fabulous LA-based hub, in collaboration with MUFG, served up an exciting night peppered with insights as we delved into the shifting dynamics of representation, deal-making, and entertainment production in Tinseltown and beyond. The evening's hot topic? "Borderless Entertainment: Inside Scoop from Industry Titans," attracted elite movers-and-shakers, experts who are shaping the thrilling cross-cultural future of the silver screen.

This electric panel discussion gathered an extraordinary lineup of entertainment veterans, including Brent Travers, host for the night, entertainment attorney Shep Rosenman, and casting directors Yoko Narahashi and Carla Hool, two of whom are legends in Japanese talent representation and LatinX casting, respectively. Of course, we couldn't forget celebrated manager and stylist Jeanne Yang, who was unfortunately unable to join us due to a scheduling conflict.

With a law degree from Pepperdine and membership in the Producers Guild of America, he produced Sergio (2020), a hit featuring Wagner Moura and Ana de Armas for Netflix, among much else.

Shep Rosenman

Shep, the head honcho at RLG LLP, is an entertainment lawyer who negotiates deals for talent worldwide. Beyond his legal prowess, Shep is a multi-talented musician, songwriter, scholar of negotiations, and a dedicated teacher of effective communication.

Yoko Narahashi

As the daughter of a Japanese diplomat, Yoko Narahashi was born in Montreal and attended International Christian University before diving headfirst into acting and directing. Renowned for her groundbreaking work in Japanese talent representation, Yoko has carved out an impressive niche in the industry.

Carla Hool

One of the best casting directors on the block, Carla Hool is renowned for her exceptional talent in both film and television. Notable projects include Emilia Perez (2024), directed by Jacques Audiard and starring the likes of Zoe Saldana, Selena Gomez, and Karla Sofia Gascon.

Jeanne Yang

With a career that spans over 2 decades, Jeanne Yang is one of the world's top fashion stylists, working with A-list talent like Christian Bale and Robert Downey Jr. Her fame has earned her a much-deserved spot in our lineup, even though a scheduling conflict kept her from attending.
