Say hullo to the premiere of the Modern War Journal (MWJ)! This groundbreaking publication is set to drop on June 1, 2025, and lemme tell ya, it sure is gonna rock your world! Partners of the West Point Press, with generous financial backing from the West Point Class of 1982 and Mr. Tom Hand, have made this dream a reality.

Now, why is this journal so hot? Well mate, it's all about gaining an edge in tomorrow's wars - today! The MWJ aims to serve up insightful, timely, and highly relevant academic content that's gonna benefit not just West Point, but our operational forces, too. The theme for the first edition is "leadership and the emerging battlefield." Sounds epic, doesn't it?

What's in this first edition, you ask? A smorgasbord of articles, opinion pieces, speeches, interviews, and book reviews - all centered around the focus of "leadership and the emerging battlefield."
