Amorim Maintains Unyielding Critique towards Rashford's Performance at Manchester United

Manchester United's manager Ruben Amorim has addressed the ongoing absence of striker Marcus Rashford from the team, with the England international missing 11 consecutive games. Rashford last featured for the Red Devils against Viktoria Plzen in December, and has since expressed his desire for a "new challenge" away from Old Trafford.

Amorim remains firm in his stance about Rashford's training habits, stating that his continued absence in the squad is due to his approach in training. The manager emphasized the importance of daily commitment and dedication, highlighting that every player who gives their maximum can be a part of the team.

Despite United's struggle to find the back of the net this season, Amorim has refused to compromise on his expectations from Rashford. The team's 1-0 win over Fulham saw defender Lisandro Martinez scoring the only goal, with an unimpressive performance overall.

Regarding United's transfer plans, Amorim stressed the need for caution due to financial constraints and following the rules. The January transfer window closes on February 3, and as of now, the club has not brought in any new players.

In the broader context, several clubs have shown interest in Rashford, including AC Milan, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United. Financial constraints, particularly Rashford's high salary, pose a challenge in securing a transfer. Unsurprisingly, Rashford is seeking a move that aligns with his ambition of competing for trophies and playing at an international level.

With the January transfer window open, the future of Rashford at Manchester United remains a topic of interest. A potential loan move to Juventus or a transfer to Barcelona, subject to financial agreement and meeting Rashford's criteria, are the most feasible options at this time. However, the process is complicated by Rashford's demands and United's need to mitigate the financial impact of his departure.

Amorim has mentioned that the club's financial constraints may prevent them from fulfilling Rashford's transfer requests, as his high salary could hinder potential deals. In light of this, Rashford's love for sports and money might push him to seek a move to a club where he can increase his earnings while continuing to excel in his favorite sport.
