Aicher Holzbau Honoured Again for Environmental, Climate Protection
Aicher Holzbau GmbH, a leader in timber construction, has been recognised once again for its exceptional commitment to environmental and climate protection. The company, founded by Adolf Tahedl in 1968, received the award from Bavarian State Minister Tanja Schweiger and Regenstauf's second mayor, Bruno Schleinkofer.
The award, part of the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact established in 1995, was accepted by the company's managing director, Michael Aicher. This is not the first time Aicher Holzbau has received this honour; it previously did so in 2011. The company's use of dry wood and wood-based materials ensures solidity and durability, contributing to effective building protection.
The company's timber constructions serve as model projects, demonstrating its dedication to environmental and climate protection. They align with global sustainability goals and the Bavarian Climate Protection Act. The award is valid for three years and allows the company to use the official 'Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact' logo.
Starting as a sawmill in 1983, Aicher Holzbau has grown into a prominent timber construction company. Its commitment to operational environmental and climate protection has been recognised by Bavarian State Minister Thorsten Glauber. The company shares its experiences via the platform www.umweltpakt.bayern.de, contributing to the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact's mission.
