Affordable Housing in Eilzovo Near Completion, Offering Mix of Apartments
A 188-apartment building in Eilzovo, part of the 'Affordable Housing in the Far East' program, is nearing completion. Scheduled for July 2025, this residential complex will offer a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, catering to in-demand specialists and specific categories of citizens determined by the Russian government.
The building, currently 88% complete, has seen internal finishing work commence. Cleaning work is ongoing, with floor screeds, drywall partitions, external metal doors, and fire doors already installed. Engineering communications are nearing completion, including water supply, heating, electricity, and low-voltage networks. Wallpaper work has begun in some apartments, and crown molding for suspended ceilings has been installed. Meanwhile, a 160-family comfort-class residential complex on Arsentyev Street in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky has been fully completed, with 50% of its housing stock transferred to residents under the 'Affordable Rental Housing in the Far East' program. This complex was constructed by Gorodskiye Inizhiornye Sistemy (GIS), a local, community- and privately-operated building and infrastructure company. The 188-apartment building in Eilzovo is also a project of GIS, with no official name released yet, often referred to as the 'GIS-Wohnkomplex' or 'Neubauprojekt von GIS'.
The 188-apartment building in Eilzovo is expected to provide much-needed housing for in-demand specialists and specific categories of citizens. Upon completion, it will offer a variety of apartment sizes to suit different needs. The successful completion of the 160-family residential complex in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky under the same program demonstrates the progress being made in affordable housing initiatives in the region.
