Miskita & Co, a renowned law firm, has been providing comprehensive legal and strategic advisory support to the Adani Group in their bid to become the construction and development agency for the Motilal Nagar redevelopment project, led by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA).
The Motilal Nagar redevelopment project, spanning over approximately 578,700 square meters of land, is the largest housing redevelopment initiative in Mumbai. The project aims to renew and transform Motilal Nagar phases 1, 2, and 3, involving the rehabilitation of thousands of residential and commercial units, including slum tenements.
The project will see the rehabilitation of 3,372 residential units, 328 commercial units, and 1,600 slum tenements. M.T. Miskita & Co's role was to provide advice on various legal, regulatory, and strategic matters related to the tender, bid, and transaction documents for this ambitious initiative.
