Total income rose by 27-28% year-on-year to approximately ₹6,819-7,026 crore, driven by stable operating performance, higher Service Concession Arrangement (SCA) income, and rising contributions from smart metering. Sequential revenue growth was 7-7.4% over Q4 FY25.

Key operational highlights include the commissioning of three new transmission lines, an expansion of the transmission network, and a reduction in distribution losses from 5.18% to 4.24% year-on-year.

In summary, Q1 FY26 for Adani Energy Solutions was characterized by robust growth in revenue and profit driven by strong execution, capital expenditure growth (1.7x increase to ₹2,224 crore), and expanding smart metering contributions, reinforcing the company's core business momentum.

The under-construction order book for AESL stands at Rs 59,304 crore, and the company aims to install 70 lakh new meters this year. CEO Kandarp Patel anticipates a significant increase in AESL's capex roll-out and new bid activity from Q2. He also reported stable operating performance and growth in SCA income.
