Actor Dagmar Hansen, following her cameo in Falstaff, is now back at the Jalag, seeking fresh avenues for financial support.
In a surprising move, Dagmar Hansen has returned to Jahreszeiten Verlag, the leading publisher of premium and luxury magazines in Germany, after a brief stint at Falstaff Germany. Hansen's new role at Jahreszeiten Verlag is not specified, but Arne Bergmann, CEO of Sales and Content Solutions, is delighted to welcome her back.
Hansen's extensive expertise in advertising is expected to support Jahreszeiten Verlag's continued growth. Before her role at Falstaff, Hansen worked for nine years at the Jahreszeiten Verlag from 2009 to 2018. Prior to that, she spent 18 years at Jalag, a significant portion of which was as CEO and Publisher at Falstaff Germany, a position she held from February this year until her departure in June.
Meanwhile, the status of the leadership change at Falstaff remains unanswered. Wolfgang Rosam remains the sole CEO at Falstaff Germany, as previously reported. The CEO of Falstaff Germany before leaving the position in February is not explicitly named, but Sandra May was appointed CEO in early September 2025, suggesting she succeeded the previous CEO who left in February. As for Hansen's successor at Falstaff Germany, there is no mention of a potential candidate in the current paragraph.
Hansen's departure from Falstaff Germany marked the beginning of a new chapter for the publication. In her absence, the company has been focusing on new revenue streams, particularly outside of traditional advertising. These new strategies include strategic partnerships with market partners and increased visibility of the brands in premium and luxury target groups.
At Jahreszeiten Verlag, Hansen is now responsible for the strategic development of Jalag's entire brand portfolio. Meanwhile, her previous role at Falstaff Germany is not related to her return to Jahreszeiten Verlag.
In February, Sebastian Himmler took over Hansen's position as Publishing Director for the German edition of "Robb Report". It remains to be seen who will take on Hansen's former role at Falstaff Germany.
The leadership change at Falstaff and Hansen's return to Jahreszeiten Verlag are two significant events in the German publishing industry. As these developments unfold, both companies are poised for continued growth and success.
