Act Now: Avoid Electricity Bill Hike - DEK Urges Document Submission
Residents of private households are urged to provide energy suppliers with specific documents to avoid a potential hike in their electricity bills. PJSC 'DEK' has warned that failure to comply could lead to recalculations that significantly impact consumers' wallets.
To benefit from reduced tariffs, residents must confirm the presence of electric heating equipment or electric stoves. This can be done by submitting official documents such as proof of installation, technical specifications, or certification of electric heating devices. These documents can be sent via email, uploaded through the DÉK website, or handed in at a client office.
Without these documents, tariffs will increase with each consumption range. Different tariffs apply to houses with and without electric heating systems, with reduced rates visible when the required documents are provided. Energy providers may also conduct on-site inspections after receiving the required documents.
Residents are advised to provide the necessary documents to PJSC 'DEK' by December 1 to avoid potential recalculations and increased electricity bills. Failure to do so may result in higher tariffs, affecting consumers' wallets.
