3Commas Raises $37M in Series B to Expand Crypto Trading Access
3Commas, a Tallinn-based automated crypto trading bot platform, has raised $37 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Target Global, Alameda Research, Jump Crypto, and Dmitry Tokarev, founder of Copper. The company aims to make crypto trading more accessible to users seeking new pathways to profitability and financial freedom.
Founded in 2017, 3Commas offers a suite of manual and automated trading bots, strategies, and risk management solutions. The platform aims to increase machine learning and AI trading bots to deliver higher profitability and grow its trading network. The funding will be used to develop trade automation and portfolio management tools on the platform. Additionally, 3Commas will boost developers' access to APIs to create apps utilized by traders within the ecosystem. The company has also launched DeCommas, a subsidiary that simplifies trade automation in decentralized finance (DeFi).
The Series B funding round, which received attention from prominent investors, demonstrates confidence in 3Commas' vision to democratize access to crypto trading strategies. With the new funds, the company plans to enhance its platform and expand its offerings, further solidifying its position in the crypto trading landscape.
