BMW M4 GTS Up for Auction on Bring a Trailer

The BMW M4 GTS, a limited-edition sports car with a production run of only 830 units worldwide, is currently up for bidding on Bring a Trailer. With 803 units delivered globally, this specific model is one of the rare gems in the automotive world.

Originally priced at around $135,195, this 2016 M4 GTS is currently up for bid at $25,000. The car, painted in Alpine White, is one of four available paint options. However, it is worth noting that the carbon ceramic brakes, a standard feature on the M4 GTS, are missing.

The M4 GTS is instantly recognizable with its Unique Style 666M wheels painted Acid Orange, an aggressive carbon fiber wing and front splitter, and OLED taillights. Inside, the car features extended shift paddles, a back-up camera, and Apple CarPlay.

Under the hood, the M4 GTS boasts a water-injection system, which increases its power to 493 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. This powerful engine, coupled with a lightweight roll cage and stripped-down interior, makes the M4 GTS a true performance machine.

This particular M4 GTS has seen 12,000 miles on the road, and its Carfax report is imperfect. Despite this, it is still a highly sought-after collectible for BMW enthusiasts.

The M4 GTS sits at the top of the F82 M4 lineup, similar to the G82 M4 CSL. It is also interesting to note that a bimmerpost member claims 100 of the total North American cars were painted Alpine White, with the name of the member who listed 100 of these cars being 'mattcooper'.

The last M4 GTS that went to auction sold for $74,000 three months ago. With the current bidding at $25,000, this M4 GTS on Bring a Trailer presents an exciting opportunity for a collector or enthusiast. The auction ends on Monday, September 8.
